Inspired to become something great and to put a smile on the mouths of those eating
his food Daniel Scott, was a self educated cook who had ambition to become a chef.
Working a desk job was not the ideal environment and is something that he knew he
was in need of dire change. On a wing decision he left his job in marketing to
pursue a field that he knew without a doubt he was talented in and would truly
strive to be great at. He finally decided to focus on his strengths and dedicate
his life to his unique ability.
December 21st of 2008 Decision was made to leave desk job to pursue culinary dream.
January 28th 2009 35 hour Drive from San Antonio, TX to Westborough, MA
February 8th 2009 Scott Executive Chef Enterprise was Created
February 16th 2009 First day of class at Le Cordon Bleu, Boston, MA
February 20th 2009 First day as line cook at 1790 Restaurant and Tavern Westborough, MA
Test Runs for Private Dining and Test Kitchen
May 8th 2009 First Private Dining Event (Received toast at the end of night!)
Completed half a dozen Private dining events, with ideal results.
